Speaking of rubies

Did you know the ruby is one of the world’s oldest and most revered gemstones? This rare stone has Chromium in it, which accounts for the gem’s startling color. Rubies with hardly any inclusions (such as cracks) are so rare that large stones of good color can bring higher prices at auction than diamonds.

Do you have any old gold? We’re in the buying mood. Take a look through your jewelry boxes and check to see if you have any gold, silver or diamonds that you’d like to sell, and bring them in for a quote.

It may seem a little early, but it really isn’t too early to let you know that Ladies Night this year will be Tuesday, Nov. 11.
